BMKG (Climatology Meteorology and Geophysics)
Name of Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) changed to Bureau of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics or BMKG. This name change has been set by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on September 4, 2008. The system works no change. This change is intended to broaden understanding of the scope of agency duties BMG (read BMKG) that the former has been serving the community in the field of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics.
